FAQ

I’m a local nonprofit, can I join?

At this time only a current TGC partner can recommend a new partner. We hope that as we grow, we can include even more partners and open the doors wider.

What is the process of joining Thrive?

Once you have been recommended by a current partner, then a member of the leadership team will be in touch. If there seems to be a potential match then someone from our leadership team will come and meet with you. Depending on your needs, we may agree to do a few consulting or coaching calls. If a long term relationship is desired, we will make a few visits, establish mutual goals and identify key services that Thrive Global Consulting will offer. For full partners we will draft an MOU which both parties will sign. For partnered projects, we ask that key members of the board also sign the MOU.

What do you expect from your partners?

Our first and primary expectation is that you will do what you can to run great programs that improve the lives of the vulnerable. We expect you to work hard and show integrity. We are looking for organizations that want to be part of the TGC community, a community of organizations that support one another, sharing stories and ideas as you seek to make a difference. Depending on where you are based, that may mean a monthly Skype call or meeting together face-to-face once every two months. We also have Thrive gatherings every 18 months, bringing together key leaders for a retreat, encouraging you to take time to pause, share ideas, reflect and learn. Long term, our hope is that some of those who are partners today will become coaches to serve new TGC partners in the future.
